Welcome to the Traditional Tae Kwon-Do Federation
The Traditional Tae Kwon-Do Federation (TTF) is a National Governing Body (NGB) for Independent Traditional Clubs and Associations, and is a Registered Member of the British Tae Kwon-Do Council (BTC).
Newly established in 2012, the TTF was formed to provide recognition for Independent Tae Kwon-Do Instructors who want to up hold the traditional values of Tae Kwon-Do without having to deal with the politics of various World Governing Bodies.
The TTF provide support and advice as well as legitimate membership of the BTC with no interference with the way you run your school.

About
Formed in 2012 with founding members WMST, STA and MCHF TKD the Traditional Tae Kwon-Do Federation (TTF) was set up to provide support and guidance for traditional clubs and associations who follow the ‘Chang-Hon’ style of Tae Kwon-Do originally developed and taught by the founder, and who felt that they didn’t want to deal with the politics of various World Governing bodies.
The TTF does not impose excessive rules and regulations you find with larger Tae Kwon-Do groups. We only require instructors to attend British Tae Kwon-Do Council (BTC) course, have professional indemnity insurance, be DBS checked, obtain BTC licenses for yourself and your students, and run your school in a safe and professional manner.
We will not interfere in your day to day running of your school, your syllabus or your gradings. However should you require the services of a high graded and examiner the TTF can provide examiners of 5th Degree, 6th Degree, 7th Degree Master and 9th Degree Grandmaster.
If you are a traditional ‘Chong-Hon’ style instructor then the TTF can offer you access to National and International tournaments and seminars with top Tae Kwon-Do practitioners and Masters, and of course full BTC membership and all that goes with it.

British Tae Kwon-Do Council
The British Taekwondo Council (BTC) is recognised by UK Sport and Home Country Sports Councils as the only Governing Body for Tae Kwon-Do and was established in conjunction with UK Sports Council to unify and oversee development of Tae Kwon-Do in the UK.
The BTC cater for all styles of Tae Kwon-Do – ITF, WTF, Kukkiwon and Independents.
